• Large scale structure of the Universe – galaxy filaments and the properties of various astrophysical sources in relation to them.

    • The filament network should be connected, i.e., loose ends and lone filamentary scraps should be rare or even nonexistent. We achieved this by morphological transformations of celestial projections within an image analysis framework.
