Institute of Geography Department of Climatology Research Programme
From 1993 the Department of Climatology is taking part in the national progam named Integrated Monitoring of the Natural Environment and in Koniczynka a Base Station was set up (one of the 6 working in Poland where monitoring of selected physical and biological elements of the natural environment are studied. In the research the following institutions take place: Istitute of Geography, NCU, Institute of Ecology and Environment Protection, County Ispectorate of Environment Protection. In the frame of this program Our Department organised in 1996 the 7th Symposium of the Integrated Monitoring of the Natural Environment.
