	BIOGRAPHY PAINTINGS TEXTS ŁUKASZ HUCULAK He was born in 16 August 1977 in Rzeszów. He studied at the FAA in Wrocław in the years 1997-2002, the following subjects: painting under the watchful eye of Professor Stanisław Kortyka, architectural painting under Professor Wojciech Kaniowski, unique pottery under Professor Krystyna Cybińska. In 2002, he obtained his diploma with distinction. Since 2002 he has been working as assistant in the painting and drawing workshop of Professor Grzegorz Zyndwalewicz, and then Professor Wojciech Lupa in the Fine Arts Academy in Wrocław. Scholarships and prizes (selection): 2005 - Distinction at the Bielska Jesień Festival, BWA Bielsko Biała; Creator's scholarship funded by the Upper Bavaria Government - stay at the Schafhof European House for Artists, Fraising near Munich, VI Small Painting Forms Biennale, Toruń - prize awarded by BPH bank; 2004 - Scholarship funded by the Minister of Culture, II Marian Michalik Painting Triennale, Częstochowa - prize awarded by the President of Częstochowa; 2002 - XIX Festival of Modern Polish Art, Szczecin - Grand Prix; 2001 - IV Small Painting Forms Biennale, Toruń - distinction; 2000 - "Painting 2000" Miyauchi Foundation Competition - 2nd prize; Scholarship funded by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage.
